what i have done with time reclaimed from tumblr

as suggested by my friend numb3r_5ev3n over here, here are some things i have been able to do with my free time since i have stopped using tumblr (and most stopped with facebook too).

• i ordered a tarot deck and fountain pen, which i should receive tomorrow.
• i read a book on bullet journalling, which sounds exciting. i have a suitable journal, and i'm gonna set it up to start with the new year as soon as i get that pen.
• i've been reading up on how to install arch linux on my macbook. efi boot stuff is still kind of new to me, and i don't understand how it all works. bios, for all of its many problems, was at least fairly simple in its mechanisms. probably going to give that a go tonight or tomorrow.
• i did a couple hours of shopping yesterday, which was enough walking to make me a bit sore (not that that is hard, given the desk job career i have). i picked a book out for my wife (Gunnerkrigg Court vol 1, one of her favorites).
